Prerana Baranwal, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a pediatric gastroenterologist at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. After medical school, Dr. Baranwal completed her general pediatrics residency at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine, followed by completion of a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In her spare time, Dr. Baranwal enjoys singing, writing, painting, baking, and traveling.
